Kayaking - top
Explore the near by lagoon early in the morning or late in the evening with one of the local kayak providers to see plentiful birds, fish, and crocodiles. Don’t worry the crocodiles swim away! You can explore the waters edge for early morning bird, paddle with a string and hook in tow to catch fish, or just drift where the wind takes you as fish jump out of the water for their bug bit. This is approximately a 2 hour round trip with a 20 minute walk to the kayaks.

Horseback Riding - top
Take an easy step up onto the back of a spicy or tranquil horse that will take you deep into the mountains or along a remote beach on Peninsula de Osa close to Rio Piro. The local Vaquero or Cowboy will welcome you with bright eyes and a story only told by the sweet smell of a flowers, the taste of wild pepper, or the growl of a howler monkey.
