Base su inmersión en la vida silvestre de la selva tropical en Finca Exotica Eco Lodge
La Península de Osa: el sueño de un amante de la naturaleza. Playas desiertas, un océano azul, un verde exuberante intercalado con plumas de colores que brillan a través de las hojas: esa es la Península de Osa, definida por la revista National Geographic como "el lugar biológicamente más intenso en la tierra".
Una gran parte de la península de Osa está compuesto por el famoso Parque Nacional Corcovado, que es la última selva tropical existente en la costa del Pacífico de este continente. Finca Exotica está rodeada de esta biodiversidad incomparable y forma continuidad biológica con su biosfera, en otras palabras: cuando estás en Finca Exotica, estás básicamente en Corcovado (¡puedes comprobarlo en en Google Maps!). Esta área alberga más de 500 especies de árboles, 400 especies de aves (tenemos alrededor de 850 en Costa Rica), 140 mamíferos, 116 especies de reptiles y anfibios y más de 6000 insectos identificados.
La biodiversidad de Costa Rica es más que abundante. En Finca somos visitados frecuentemente por monos (monos araña, monos ardilla, capuchinos y ocasionalmente aulladores), coatíes, guacamayas rojas y una variedad aparentemente infinita de colibríes. También vemos tucanes, halcones, osos hormigueros y un grupo de reptiles como el Lagarto Jesús, conocido por su capacidad de correr sobre el agua (¡literalmente!).
Carate es también un importante lugar de anidación para las tortugas marinas. Con varias organizaciones locales dedicadas a proteger a las tortugas marinas, nuestros huéspedes pueden realizar recorridos nocturnos para ver a esta majestuosa criatura y aprender sobre los esfuerzos locales de conservación. A fines del verano (fines de julio y agosto), ocasionalmente podemos ver ballenas durante su migración anual, así como delfines y orcas.
La vida silvestre de Costa Rica nos trae el milagro de la vida. Sentados en nuestra terraza, practicando yoga en nuestra terraza de yoga, o incluso al despertar y abrir los ojos, rara vez pasará un momento en el que no veas una criatura pequeña y peculiar, un colibrí, una hermosa mariposa o alguna otra maravilla. siguiendo su día, absorbiendo la atmósfera tal como tu lo estás haciendo !
